What is Fuel?
A prepaid work credit bought in packs — each pack grants a set amount of Fuel (e.g. $25 = 40 Fuel). It sits in your account until you spend it, and it never expires. It is not a cryptocurrency and not a subscription.
What does Fuel actually do today?
Three things, honestly: it powers your AI chat beyond the free tier, it backs project votes, and it expands your workspace storage. A vote moves Fuel, not dollars — 1 Fuel you spend on a project moves 1 Fuel into that project's build wallet, so what a vote is worth in money depends on what you paid per Fuel in your pack (the card states it). More ways to spend it are being built; we only charge for what already works.

An account, chatting with GLEE, creating Dreams, Research, and Creations, a receipt trail for every change, and browsing all public work. Ideas and comments never cost Fuel.
Where does the money go?
Revenue accounting first holds 50% of gross receipts in the Captain recoup reserve. Card-processing costs and the remaining 40/40/20 operating allocation come only from the other half. The reserve is an accounting allocation, not an automatic payout. Payments are new here — every payment is human-reviewed during beta, and if anything goes wrong we make it right.
