What is Fuel?
A prepaid work credit: $1 buys 1 Fuel. It sits in your account until you spend it, and it never expires. It is not a cryptocurrency and not a subscription.

Where does the money go?
Revenue accounting first holds 50% of gross receipts in the Captain recoup reserve. Card-processing costs and the remaining 40/40/20 operating allocation come only from the other half. The reserve is an accounting allocation, not an automatic payout. Payments are new here — every payment is human-reviewed during beta, and if anything goes wrong we make it right.
